JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Intern provides administrative and project support to the HR team while gaining practical experience in various areas of human resources, including onboarding, employee engagement, HR compliance, benefits administration, recordkeeping, and training. This role offers exposure to core HR functions and opportunities to contribute to projects that support employees and organizational goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following.

1. Maintain employee records in UKG Pro and assist with document management and re-porting. Train new users on accessing and navigating the system.

Assist with password resets for the UKG Pro system. 2. Coordinate and administer new hire orientations and send new hire benefit emails.

Com-plete I9 verifications. Ensure new hire documents are ingested into UKG Pro and proper-ly maintained. 3.

Assist with benefits enrollment and communication activities. Support open enrollment preparation and employee education efforts. Respond to employee questions regarding benefits programs and direct them to appropriate resources.

4. Process termination paperwork for employee separations, including updating databases, obtaining company property and other miscellaneous paperwork. 5.

Conduct exit interviews and send termination emails. 6. Complete Payroll Status Change Forms for personnel changes and send to Payroll for processing.

7. Track employee goals and performance reviews for completion. Send completion status reports to managers and GMs.

Follow up with employees and managers to ensure com-pletion. 8. Run weekly report hours OT worked by non-exempt employees in the US and distribute to required leaders.

9. Respond to routine employee inquiries and direct questions to appropriate HR staff. 10.

Support departmental administrative tasks and special projects. 11. Support employee recognition and engagement programs.

12. Assist with learning and development initiatives. Help prepare training materials and presentations.

Coordinate training schedules and attendance tracking. Submit attendance to TED Tracking spreadsheet for CEU credits. 13.

Assist HR Manager and HR Director with various events: CSW, Holiday Party, etc. 14. Participate in HR initiatives and special projects.

15. Other duties as assigned. Performs other job-related duties and functions as required.Experience: Prior internship, administrative, customer service or office experience

Familiari-ty with HR concepts, employment laws, or HRIS systems. Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. Education: Recent college graduate or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

Knowledge/Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are essen-tial. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, including HRIS, employee engagement platforms, and other HR-related applications, is also re-quired.
