Position Overview
Insight is currently recruiting for our 2026 Summer Internship! We're seeking enthusiastic and talented college juniors with a graduation date of either December 2026 or May 2027 to join our 10-week, full-time, paid internship program, starting June 1, 2026.
Are you ready to join a dynamic team and take your sales career to new heights? Insight is on the hunt for an Account Executive Intern to join our growing Enterprise & Corporate sales team. As an Account Executive Intern, you'll be responsible for identifying new relationships with clients and partners alike, helping them to enable their business outcomes through leveraging Insight's impressive portfolio of technology solutions, services and products. We're looking for a someone who is eager to understand client relationships, has fantastic communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills to bring some excitement to our Enterprise & Corporate sales team!
What You Will Do
  • Support motions to build relationships with prospective clients, understanding and identifying their needs.
  • Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives, collaborating with experts to strategize account approach.
  • Develop foundational understanding of a specific Insight-focus industry vertical, facilitate client discussions, and manage sales pipeline reporting.
  • Research clients' Total Addressable Market (TAM) and develop strategies to capture IT spend.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers and build strong relationships.
  • Present and promote products/services and provide tailored solutions.
  • CRM records, collaborate with team members, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Participate in internship specific trainings and networking events.
What You Need
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program majoring in: Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or Computer Science.
  • Be a rising senior (having just finished your junior year of college).
  • Ability to attend full internship- June 2, 2025-August 8, 2025.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, knowledge in channel management and solution sales.
  • Self-motivated, hunger to learn, and detail-oriented
