Job description

Would you like the opportunity to be our next CAD Tech specializing in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer. As a CAD Tech at Robinson, you will have the opportunity to work across engineering disciplines to provide production support. You will have the opportunity to make an impact in communities such as Itasca, Frankfort, South Holland, Bourbonnais, Tinley Park and Merrillville, Indiana.

Your New Opportunity
  • Drafting and plan production for civil engineering projects
  • 3D modeling
  • Providing assistance to engineers and other team members for:
    • CAD drafting
    • Quantity take-offs
    • Engineering design
    • Training on Bentley products

Your Background and Credentials
  • High school graduate required; college graduate preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years related work experience in computer aided drafting
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in civil engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with IDOT (Illinois Dept. of Transportation) plan standards and requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with Bentley V8i of MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is required
  • AutoCAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D experience a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to be collaborative
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

The pay range for this position is $33 - $44 per hour.
