Description:

This is an entry-level position for professional work. Project Engineer Intern performs a variety of routine tasks, which provide experience and familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practices and programs. Project Engineer Intern works under close supervision and receives specific and detailed instructions for required tasks and expected results.



Position requirements include:

  • Assist in development of plans, specifications and inspection reports.
  • Assist in preparation of material lists and labor contracts.
  • Assist with preparation of substation and solar designs and construction drawings.
  • Provide direction to designers, CAD operators on candidate’s assigned team.
  • Work site visits and a commitment to safety at all times.
  • Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must interface well with employees at all levels.
  • Support and contribute to a company-wide safety culture by following established safety standards, policies, and best practices, helping to ensure a safe environment for employees, clients, and the public.
  • Possess strong time management skills.
  • Possess a good attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:

Working towards a B.S. degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering. No experience required. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is not required but is a plus.
