This position requires an experienced technical lead with a strong background in post silicon validation across multiple product iterations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DDR5 buffer of silicon bring-up and validation, including high-speed analog and mixed-signal characterization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experienceof silicon bring-up and validation, including high-speedanalogand mixed-signal characterization..The candidate should be comfortable leading bench-level validation and characterization activities, driving debug efforts, developing test methodologies, and collaborating cross-functionally with design, system, and product engineering teams. 

Job Description

ComponentBenchValidation andCharacterization 

  • Leveragebestknowntest and measurement techniques-includingdeembedding,highimpedanceprobing, and noise compensation-to address complexsignalintegritychallenges as memory data rates continue to scale. 
  • Support Design and Validation teams in the characterization of critical electrical and timing parameters forhighspeedmemory devices. 
  • Collaborate closely with designers andcrossfunctionalpartners to debug andoptimizeperformance using exploratory,openendedtest approaches that extend beyond strictspecificationdrivenmeasurements. 

Data Analysis and Reporting 

  • Synthesize experimental results and systematically definesubsequentvalidation and characterization experiments to fully isolate and understand complex issues. 
  • Generate clear, consistent, andwellstructuredreports tailored to a range of technical andnontechnicalaudiences, ensuring actionable insights and alignment across teams. 
  • Develop andvalidateinnovative applications of LLM/AI techniques to analyze large-scale validation datasets, generate effective visualizations, and reduce overall cycle time to final reporting. 

Technical Communication 

  • Effectively document test methodologies, procedures, and assumptions to ensure results are reproducible,accurate, and scalable across validation efforts. 
  • Communicate complex technical concepts withan appropriate levelof detail tailored to each stakeholder, from deep technical audiences to broadercrossfunctionalteams. 
  • Collaborate effectively with Validation Engineers across diverse geographic regions, languages, and technical backgrounds, fostering alignment and knowledge sharing within global teams. 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master'sdegree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of hands-on experienceinhigh-speed Analog and Mixed-signalsignal devices. 
  • Strong understanding ofsignaling levels, termination architectures, and signal integrity tradeoffs insystems. 
  • Expertisein using typical high speed interface test equipment (BERT, Scope, Compliance S/W).
  • Proficiencyin scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation and analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • Experience withadvanced signal integrity measurements and applications for Design correlation. 
  • Strongunderstanding of memory interface architecture, interface protocols,standardsand operation, preferably DDR5.
