3D CAD SPECIALIST - EXCAVATION

FOX CITIES | WISCONSIN


RESPONSIBILITIES

The 3D CAD Specialist is primarily responsible for using software to generate complex sketches and 3D models for our various construction projects. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask as duties include coordinating multiple project designs, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that all aspects of project development are coordinated to meet specifications and deadlines. Additional responsibilities include supervising, coordinating, and scheduling project resources such as equipment, materials, and crew members. The 3D CAD Specialist must have exceptional leadership and communication skills as they will need to communicate with project engineers, project managers and crew members regarding project requirements.


Safety is a top priority at MCC, Inc. 3D CAD Specialists are expected to work safely on all job sites, around all types of moving equipment and traffic, and in various weather conditions. Additionally, all employees are expected to maintain compliance with all workplace rules and regulations according to company policy, and all governing agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of related construction experience or two-year degree in related field preferred.
  • A Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Experience with CAD software and the ability to adapt to various computer programs through training.
  • Independent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot or problem solve.
  • Self-motivated to be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to establish priorities and complete work within scheduled deadlines.
  • Ability to provide and comprehend clear instructions, blueprints, or directions (general and technical)
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work with a variety of people.
  • Demonstrate dependability and trustworthiness and handle sensitive or confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to assess and report various hazards and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • High mathematical aptitude required with High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
