At The Pharmacy Hub, we collaborate with pharmaceutical brands, manufacturers, health brands, telemedicine providers, and healthcare companies to deliver essential products directly to patients. Our expertise allows us to seamlessly distribute pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other healthcare products to consumers, ensuring greater accessibility and convenience.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Hub is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team and provide hands-on desktop and end-user technical support across our Davie and Miami Gardens locations. This person will provide IT desktop support, troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues, assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, and help maintain IT equipment and inventory. They will work closely with the IT team and employees across the company.

This is a new headcount position. Our IT support team has decreased from five employees to two, leaving no coverage for illness, vacation, or unexpected absences. We are hiring two additional IT Support Specialists to restore adequate coverage, maintain business continuity, and avoid service disruptions.

This position reports to the IT Manager.

Core ResponsibilitiesDesktop & End-User Support (~30%)
  • Provide general desktop and end-user technical support to employees across the company
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network/connectivity issues
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including setting up user accounts, computers, and other IT equipment
IT Equipment & Inventory Management (~45%)
  • Set up, deploy, and track company laptops, headsets, and other IT equipment
  • Maintain accurate IT equipment and inventory records across both the Davie and Miami Gardens locations
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, accounted for, and ready for new hires
Support Ticket Management (~15%)
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets through the company's ticketing system
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent requests and escalate issues appropriately when needed
Documentation (~10%)
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recurring issues
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date records to support knowledge sharing across the IT team
Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or a similar IT role
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of common business applications
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and basic network connectivity
  • Experience setting up user accounts, computers, and other IT equipment
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote-support tools
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS, and network troubleshooting
  • Strong communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in IT
  • Experience with Google Workspace

Work Environment

This is a 100% on-site role split across The Pharmacy Hub's Davie and Miami Gardens, Florida locations, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. The pace is driven by day-to-day support ticket volume, onboarding and offboarding timelines, and the operational needs of a fast-paced pharmaceutical fulfillment environment. This role works closely with the IT team and with employees across the company, and may require travel between the two office locations. Candidate should be open scheduled.
