Join our team at our Leona Schools Support Office to support all 28 of our unique campuses across Arizona and make a difference for the students we serve!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technology Inventory: locating and adding tech to inventory software
  • Procurement: obtaining technology quotes for the schools and corporate office.
  • Provide first-line support and resolves problems to the end user's satisfaction
  • Monitor, manage and communicate with end-users, prioritizing tickets
  • Investigate issues, research solutions and implement and document using a ticketing system
  • Understand a standard desktop environment
  • Document internal procedures through the IT Glue
  • Assists with the onboarding of new users, including basic guidance and training where required
  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
  • Maintains inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
  • Reports issues to the IT Director for escalation
  • Manage changes, moves, adds, deletions for Users and Computers within Active Directory
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Apply patches to workstations and servers during agreed maintenance windows
  • Investigate standard tickets and seek ways to reduce or remove repetitious ticket types
  • Track recurring costs related to client applications, reporting, and advising of changes.
  • Implement automation and look for new methods to improve efficiency within the team
  • Support monitoring of services using current tools and be alert to issues and reactive to problems
  • Installs and maintains server racks and network equipment (Servers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
  • Install software
  • Break/fix technology equipment
  • Server Room organization including wire management
  • Server Room documentation and updates
  • Planning/implementing networks
  • Documents network problems and resolutions
  • Monitors system performance
  • Manages user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and anti-spam.
  • Correctly identifies and resolves network issues on time
  • Act as an integral part of each school campus to represent the interests of technology

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • AZ Driver's License with a driving record that meets Leona's insurance carrier requirements; regular in-state travel is required
  • Frequent sitting and standing are required as well as the ability to carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Minimum of two years of IT help desk experience (preferred)

Required - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities with desktops, laptops, tablets, servers, and switches

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
