Shift
Tuesday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day)

Shift: Tuesday through Friday 5:00AM to 3:30PM

Location: Hixson Blvd. Lebanon, TN

Pay: $18.50/hour

Position Summary

The Computer Technician I (EMR1) role applies to a variety of job functions within the facility, all requiring similar skill levels, responsibilities, and performance expectations. The EMR1 is responsible for tearing down systems, replacing parts, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and determining the most costeffective repair path for hardware and software issues across a wide range of Tablets, Notebooks, Desktops, and Servers, depending on the assigned Line of Business. Key job functions may include GDO (Burn and PCDoctor Testing), DFS (Cosmetic Repair, Cosmetic Logging, Packout), Conus (Induction, Burn), and CFS (L2).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Runs production in the Burn area as needed to support workflow requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with operators across all shifts.
  • Complies with OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Diagnoses system issues and determines when units must be routed to EMR for repair.
  • Loads and unloads product efficiently and safely.
  • Moves product to storage areas using proper equipment and stacks/stores merchandise appropriately; may pick orders and assemble merchandise for shipment.
  • Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently; may use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and storing functions; may operate factory vehicles, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Crosstrains teammates in all currently assigned roles.
  • Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
  • Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
  • Participates in physical inventories.
  • Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
  • Provides onthejob training to new teammates.
  • Trains Burn Technicians to identify failure types and determine appropriate routing (Staging, Burn for BOM reset, EMR for hardware failure).
  • Maintains 5S standards and ensures a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Responsible for dispositioning inventory across recovery grades (retail, wholesale, sort and settle).
  • Conducts proper cosmetic inspection, cleaning, and ensures correct label placement and orientation per guidelines.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0--2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • A+ certification may be preferred.
  • Technical ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems.
  • Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment is beneficial.
