Turner Specialty Services is currently accepting resumes for a highly motivated and skilled CAD Drafter/Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and detailed CAD drawings and models to support inspection activities within the petrochemical industry. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and efficiency of critical infrastructure projects. This is a local position to the Houston area with no per-diem.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit)
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and procedures
  • Experience with data management and document control systems
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others at the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit); develop and maintain accurate as-built drawings and models based on field inspection data; prepare and generate inspection reports, including sketches, diagrams, and other relevant documentation; assist in the development of inspection plans and procedures; collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders; maintain accurate and up-to-date project records; ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards; stay current with industry best practices and advancements in CAD technology; performs additional assignments as required

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
