Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Debug Technician that will work as part of a team to conduct PCAs failure analysis, troubleshooting and repair. As part of the Repair team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Repair/RMA Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Repair Debug Technician will perform troubleshoots, hands-on soldering repair for defective circuit boards & RMA field return PCAs.
Responsibilities
  • Repair RMA return defective circuit boards.
  • Work closely with Failure Analysis Engineer (FAE) for PCAs troubleshooting and provide root-cause diagnostic feedback.
  • Hands on soldering skills for component replacement.
  • Know and able to read electronic schematics, BRD/CAD file and conduct component level.
  • Troubleshoots for defective mother boards.
  • Use visual clues, computer programs, and diagnostic tools to further diagnose FA difficulties.
  • Interface with cross functional teams such as Test, Failure Analysis, Engineering, Production, etc.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 2-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with switches, network equipment etc.
  • Past experience with computer hardware like CPUs, NIC, Memory etc.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends on occasion.
