Job description

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician - Floater to join their Production team whose primary duties will include providing support in various departments based on daily production needs by performing duties in either the assembly, inventory, mechanical, shipping/ receiving, and soldering area!
 
Full-time, daylight position, M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
Additional Duties:
Will be required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities outlined in the following job descriptions on any given day dependent upon production needs:
  • Assembler Technician
  • Inventory Technician
  • Mechanical-Silkscreen Technician
  • Shipping/Receiving/Packaging Technician
  • Soldering Technician
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Experience is preferred in two or more of the following:
a) Silkscreen
b) Mechanical Fabrication
c) Inventory
d) Shipping/Receiving/Packaging
e) Soldering
f) Assembling
  • Must have ability to read blueprints and schematics, use calipers, micrometers and tape measurer
  • Must have strong math aptitude along with the ability to work precisely with small parts and do repetitive work; must possess physical and manual dexterity skills and be safety conscience.
  • Basic computer skills needed along with alpha/numeric keyboard skills. Position requires tact, professionalism & diplomacy.
  • Must have the ability to work on an individual basis as well as in a team environment along with a demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time is required
  • Excellent organizational skills along and a great attention to detail is required as well as strong organization, planning, time, and project management skills with a focus on safety and quality, along with the ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
