We are searching for a talented Personal Computer Technician

 

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift with weekend, on-call, and holiday rotation; 8:00am - 4:30PM; Monday - Friday regular schedule    2 ON Call shifts Approx. every 2 Months  One shift M-Thurs 5:00PM - 7:00am / Weekend Fri 5:00pm - Monday 7:00am

Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Under the direction of the PC Tech Team Leader or designee, perform diversified technical and related duties both within and in support of the Management Information Services Department including but NOT limited to: providing technical support to end users for various applications, devices, networking, operating systems, hardware/software, installation and configuration
  • An Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related field or combination of equivalent education and experience is required.
  • A working knowledge of Network technologies; DNS, AD and MS Networking technologies, wireless, Smart phones, MS desktop applications and standard imaging process is required.
  • Three (3) years of related work experience is required.
  • A+ certification is preferred.
  • A candidate without a current A+ certification must obtain within 6 months of hire into position.
  • HP Self Maintainer is required within 6 months of hire into the position.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
