Job description

The Opportunity:
LDIS LLC, a Tetra Tech Company, provides integrated engineering and design solutions for Renewable Natural Gas Processing, Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Upstream and Midstream Oil and Gas facilities, and Pharmaceuticals. Our team meets these changing needs by being a trusted partner to each of our clients.
Your Role:
LDIS is seeking a motivated and curious CADD Design Intern to support cross functional initiatives across multiple teams. This role provides hand-on on experience working alongside design, operations, and project management teams to solve real-world problems, improve processes and contribute to key projects.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Shadow and support designer and team members across different departments.
  • Assist with basic tasks related to ongoing engineering and operational tasks.
  • Learn and observe engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Help gather and organize data for team use
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Ask questions, contribute ideas, and actively engage in learning opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing an associate's degree in design or equivalent program
  • Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office & Teams)
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship or coursework related to engineering
  • Familiarity with engineering software or drafting tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Target Salary Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Please note that Tetra Tech considers numerous factors in determining pay, including but not limited to education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business
Physical Requirements:
  • Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms
  • Constantly use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate objects
  • Light work that includes lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and, occasionally, up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently moving about to accomplish tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this classification include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
  • Requires composure and ability to prioritize and manage several urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with an elevated level of competence and accuracy.
  • Occasionally climbing stairs and ladders to read meters at active oil & gas sites.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
Environmental factors mostly consist of work being conducted in an indoor office environment, but are not limited to extreme temperatures (e.g., cold, heat), fumes, variable weather conditions, outdoor work, and noise due to some travel & work on worksites. FR equipment will be
