Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Systems Engineer to join our team, ensuring the continuous monitoring and operational readiness of mission-critical systems. You will perform restoration using documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Confluence sites, and historical tickets, while maintaining seamless system functionality.
The System Engineer LCAT shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Manage system and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures (e.g., DoDAF, SOA).
  • Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Assist in developing and allocating system requirements to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
  • Coordinate the resolution of cross-discipline issues from CCB meetings, design reviews, and test reviews.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities, evaluating all development and operational considerations.
  • Allocate process and error budgets to systems and subsystems, generating alternative system concepts and physical architectures.
  • Define verification methods and criteria for systems and subsystems, ensuring they meet requirements.
  • Develop system design solutions that satisfy requirements and fulfill functional analysis.
  • Review and provide input on program work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and integrated master plans (IMP).
  • Engage in interface definition, design, and configuration changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements, ensuring they are complete, correct, and verifiable.
  • Establish and gain approval for system or component definitions under development, serving as a common reference point for developers.
  • Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services, including security mechanisms like cryptography and access control

Qualifications
  • Level 1:
    • Seven (7) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Level 2:
    • Fourteen (14) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Level 3:
    • Twenty (20) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
