  • Interpret customer drawings, specifications, models, and technical documentation to develop accurate manufacturing designs.
  • Apply GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and other engineering requirements to drawings.
  • Modify and update existing drawings and 3D models based on engineering changes, customer revisions, or manufacturing requirements.
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), part lists, and other supporting design documentation as required.
  • Review designs for accuracy, completeness, manufacturability, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Support the development of aerospace components, precision wheel systems, assemblies, and other customer-specific products.
  • Assist with the design and documentation of new products, components, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborate with machinists, fabricators, engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to improve manufacturability and production efficiency.
  • Provide design support and clarification to manufacturing personnel when questions arise regarding drawings or specifications.
  • Assist in identifying design issues, dimensional conflicts, tolerance concerns, and other potential manufacturing problems.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements when appropriate.
  • Support prototype, first article, and production activities as needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and developing solutions for design-related manufacturing issues.
  • Incorporate feedback from manufacturing and quality personnel into drawings and design revisions.
