Job Purpose
The Business Systems Analyst Lead serves as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders and Information Technology, translating complex business needs into scalable, effective system solutions. This role owns the analysis, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Finance-related business systems and processes, with a strong emphasis on ERP optimization and enterprise system maturity.
The ideal candidate blends strong finance and business process knowledge with hands-on systems expertise and enjoys leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Process Excellence
  • Partner Finance leads to gather, document, and validate business requirements for new system enhancements and implementations
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend best-practice business processes and system solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate and optimize existing business processes and Epicor workflows

Systems Leadership & Ownership
  • Serve as the Finance functional lead for system upgrades and enhancements, managing the full project lifecycle from requirements through deployment and post-go-live support
  • Lead the revamp and ongoing governance of the company's part-creation process, including establishing monitoring, controls, and review procedures
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Finance-related system configurations and processes

Testing, Controls & Governance
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Finance systems, including test scenario design, execution coordination, documentation, and audit-ready tracking of results
  • Support ongoing system monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives

Strategy & Enablement
  • Partner with Finance leadership to develop and maintain a strategic systems roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
  • Develop and maintain the Finance team's internal knowledge site, documentation, and user resources
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business/Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across supply chain, logistics, finance, manufacturing, and operations
  • Proven experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Working knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP platforms preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute initiatives through completion
  • Self-directed with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration

The annual base salary range for this position is $112,300.00 to $154,000.00
