Are you energized by solving problems through technology? Do you enjoy building smarter systems, automating manual processes, and creating tools that help teams work more efficiently?

IdeaTek is looking for a Sales Systems Analyst to serve as the technical engine behind our sales organization. In this role, you'll partner closely with sales leadership to optimize processes, administer critical sales applications, and implement system improvements that help our Residential and Business Sales teams operate at peak performance.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both project management and system configuration. You'll work across CRM platforms, sales applications, and automation tools to improve workflows, maintain data integrity, and support scalable growth across the organization.

A Day in the Life

You'll start your day reviewing incoming system requests, supporting users, and monitoring key sales applications to ensure everything is running smoothly. Throughout the day, you may be building CRM automations, configuring workflows, testing new functionality, developing dashboards, or partnering with vendors to implement system enhancements.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer and optimize CRM platforms and sales applications by configuring workflows, managing users, maintaining system integrity, and supporting day-to-day operations.
  • Lead implementation of sales system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Manage cross-functional implementation projects by coordinating stakeholders, vendors, timelines, testing, and successful deployment of new functionality.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytics that transform sales data into meaningful business insights for leadership.
  • Partner with systems development to identify business needs and deliver scalable technology solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, system standards, training resources, and data governance to support consistent adoption across the sales organization.
  • Review customer acquisition designs and sales zone configurations to support market expansion and successful project execution.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales operations, CRM administration, sales systems, business systems, project management, or other related fields.
  • Proficient with spreadsheet applications such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage data sets, use advanced formulas, and organize data for reporting.
  • Experience administering or configuring CRM platforms, sales applications, or business systems.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements, system enhancements, or workflow automations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand how business systems interact and identify opportunities for integration and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting business data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across different organizations within the business to execute projects successfully.
  • High level of technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and technologies.

What Will Help You Stand Out

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, or other Zoho applications.
  • Experience with turf management and billing systems.
  • Telecommunications, broadband, or technology industry experience.
  • Experience building CRM automations, custom reports, dashboards, or workflow rules.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Desired Attributes

Beyond the qualifications, these attributes are what make someone a great fit for our team:

  • Systems Thinker - You naturally understand how systems connect, and you look for opportunities to improve them.
  • Builder - You enjoy creating automations, improving workflows, and implementing better solutions.
  • Project Driver - You keep projects moving forward and proactively remove roadblocks.
  • Analytical - You use data to identify trends, solve problems, and support better business decisions.
  • Adaptable - You thrive in changing environments and enjoy learning new technologies.
