Summary:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing support for system architecture, infrastructure design, administration, implementation and operations. The Systems Analyst consults on the current state of the IT system and provides data-driven advice on how to expand or refine its operations to meet the organization's needs. The Systems Analyst collects data, observes workflows and monitors system activity to identify vulnerabilities or areas of improvement.
Education and/or Experience:
  • B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science/IT-related field or possession of industry certifications (CompTIA A+, MSCE, CITP, ITIL, ISA) required
  • Minimum of three years' experience in networking, data center communications, or related field required
  • Financial institution IT experience preferred
  • Experience with Linux preferred
  • Hybrid datacenter experience preferred
  • Database experience preferred
  • Knowledge of TCP / IP protocol suite; security architecture; securing and hardening Operating Systems; Networks; Databases; and Applications
  • Knowledge of the Incident Response life-cycle, working independently to investigate and effectively respond to cyber security incidents
  • Thorough understanding of the threat and attack landscape, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are leveraged by malicious actors

Competencies/Skills:
  • Diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, Cloud Technologies
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize projects
  • Hands-on experience with common enterprise software and hardware

Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions
  • Define application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes
  • Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
  • Validate results by testing and POC
  • Ensure operation by training client personnel and providing support
  • Provide reference by writing documentation
  • Accomplish information systems and organization mission by completing related results
  • Create and manage dataflow charts
  • Drive problem investigations and resolution as required
  • Monitor and Reporting duties using industry standard monitoring platform tools
  • Ensure incidents and problems are appropriately resolved or escalated
  • Serve as a technical resource to team members
  • Perform other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor
