Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between quality, manufacturing, inventory and technical teams to empower operations through digital capabilities and the Sentinel application
  • Lead configuration and support for the Sentinel application including design for new product flows, new part setups, stations, assemblies, inspections, automated workflows and lead User Acceptance Testing that reflect plant processes and product genealogy
  • Ensure accurate tracking of product processing, product inventory, and quality movement and the creation of complete product history records.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and leadership to support and build enhancements for new processes and product lines
  • Troubleshoot, track, and execute root cause analysis on product and process issues within Sentinel identified by cross-functional teams.
  • Clearly communicate system and production process changes and ideas to both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Serve as a communication link between shop-floor operations and Corporate IT.
  • Usage of AI on plant data to bring new insights and value.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience with how configurable software applications are maintained (products, automated workflows, rules, permissions, master data)
  • Experience working with company or plant‑level applications (manufacturing, quality, MES, ERP, or similar), with hands‑on exposure to system configuration and designing enhancements for business purposes.
  • Understanding of digital quality controls, product history records, and traceability requirements in a manufacturing environment with discipline to balance quality requirements with production needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Environment

Must be willing and able to work in a foundry and manufacturing environment with exposure to hot and cold weather conditions. The role requires time spent in active production areas as well as office and system-related work.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. The exact salary will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a competitive bonus program based on individual and company performance.
