The Position:

We are seeking a hands-on ERP Operations Specialist to manage the daily operations, functional support, and continuous improvement of our ERP environment.


This role focuses on ERP system stability, business process support, and issue resolution. The specialist will work closely with internal business teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure the SAP system effectively supports day-to-day operations.


The ideal candidate has practical experience supporting ERP systems in production environments, including troubleshooting user issues, managing system changes, and coordinating with internal IT teams and external SAP partners when needed.


This role is operations-focused rather than implementation-focused.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. ERP Production Support
  • Provide daily operational support for SAP S/4HANA systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues impacting business operations
  • Monitor system usage and ensure stable ERP system performance
  • Manage and track support tickets and incident resolution
  • Act as the primary ERP support contact for internal users

  1. Business Process Support
    • Support key business processes within SAP, including:
  • Sales order management
  • Procurement and purchasing
  • Inventory and logistics operations
  • Finance-related transactions
  • Work closely with business teams to identify system issues and operational gaps
  • Analyze whether issues are related to system configuration, data, or process design

  1. System Configuration & Enhancements
    • Support minor configuration changes and system adjustments
    • Coordinate with internal IT teams or external SAP partners for complex changes
    • Participate in system testing, UAT, and release validation
    • Assist with system upgrades and change management processes

  1. Data Integrity & System Governance
  • Support ERP master data management
  • Customers
  • Vendors
  • Materials
  • Monitor data accuracy and process compliance
  • Assist with ERP reporting and operational analysis
  • Help enforce standardized ERP processes

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in ERP operations, business systems support, or enterprise SaaS administration
  • Hands-on experience working with inventory modules, item master data, and transaction validation
  • Experience supporting reconciliation or data accuracy processes
  • Strong attention to detail and structured working style
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation)
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance and Operations teams
  • Ability to follow defined procedures consistently
  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend work if production issues arise


Education or Desired License and Certificates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent.
