Job description

In the Inside Sales Rep - Marketing role, you will be responsible for proactively prospecting targeted and assigned customer accounts (existing and external). You will serve as the first level of qualification with responsibility for assessing the viability of machine sales leads and addressing need or/and passing on to outside sales rep. Responsible for updating account information, generating leads (for all Foley's business lines including product support and rental).
Job duties:
  • Contact current and prospective assigned customers and document in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Document leads in CRM.
  • Collect and document customer and prospect email addresses.
  • Review and update targeted accounts in CRM.
  • Conducts proactive account management on assigned accounts by completing the customer profile function in CRM.
  • Gather and update customer equipment lists.
  • Directly communicate with sales reps and determine if leads need immediate attention.
  • Contact prospective customers to determine customer needs, present product information, and explain available services.
  • Provide information brochures and other literature to inform customers and influence buying decisions.
  • Follow up on telemarketing leads.
  • Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn all pertinent company-related computer systems and functions
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone and customer relations abilities
  • Strong motivation and self-starting initiative
  • Willingness to work with a team, learn and provide exceptional customer experience.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to drive and valid driver's license required.
