• Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s unique sleep challenges.
• Review and analyze patient intake forms, self-report questionnaires, and sleep diaries to gather comprehensive data necessary for informed treatment decisions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting findings and insights in our electronic medical records (EMR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain open and effective communication with patients regarding their treatment plans, addressing any concerns and providing updates on their progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and team members to discuss patient cases, share best practices, and enhance therapeutic strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participating in team meetings, trainings, and workshops to stay current with therapeutic advancements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of clinic operations.

You will be working primarily with adults who experience insomnia and related sleep disturbances. Many of our patients have varying underlying issues such as anxiety or depression, which also impact their sleep health. Your expertise in therapy will provide them with the tools and strategies they need to overcome these challenges and improve their overall well-being.

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted license as an LMFT in the state of California.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience working with patients who suffer from insomnia and utilizing CBT-I is required.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, including word processing software, email platforms, spreadsheets, and EMR systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with patients.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Experience working in a community health clinic setting is highly advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to navigate diverse patient needs. Additionally, familiarity with telehealth platforms and techniques will be beneficial for this remote role.
