Job description


We are seeking an experienced System Administrator II to join our Corporate IT team in Huntsville, AL (Discovery). You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing TSC's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across platforms and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve diverse IT issues across laptops, desktops, networks, and telecommunications.
  • System Management: Configure, manage, and maintain Microsoft, Linux and MacOS operating systems.
  • Security: Implement and manage security protocols to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Work with the IT team to resolve escalated issues and provide user guidance.
  • User Support: Deliver training and documentation to help employees use IT systems and tools effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field (equivalent education or experience considered).
  • 2-4 or more years of experience in IT support roles (equivalent experience considered).
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
