The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team isseeking a Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst - Windowsto support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate willbe requiredto work on-site, full-time at our Linthicum, MD location.

Responsibilities for this role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Perform as aSr. Computer Systems Analyst - Windowsin support ofclassified government contracts.

  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and verbal format.

  • Establish andmaintainhigh levelsof customer satisfaction according to definedobjectiveswhile adhering toestablishedpolicies.

  • Report task statuses asrequiredfor all recurring and non-recurring efforts in written and verbal format.

  • Oversee and lead thereliableoperations of multi-user computer systems working with system engineers, PC desktop technicians, networking engineers, project managers, end users, and IT/Cyber management.

  • Analyzeand make recommendations regardinginternal and external customer requirements anddetermineequipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.

  • Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation,that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.

  • Ensure compliant and reliablebackup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and manage virus protection on a routine basis.

  • Testand overseenew releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.

  • Lead the developmentand documentation oftechnical processes and procedures.

  • Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.

  • Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in allcases andreport security relevant statuses accordingly.

  • Ensureaccuratesecurity audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).

  • Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems.

  • Mentorshipof professionals to grow and developtechnicaltalent.

  • Lift equipment weighing up to50 pounds.

  • Work after hours and weekends, as needed.

Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site, full-time at our Linthicum, MD campus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.

  • Applicants must have an active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, or must be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) in order to be considered; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

  • The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance as a condition of continued employment.

  • Experience with designingandmaintainingWindows domain architectures, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissionsin a classified environment

  • Candidates must meet theU.S.Government 8140requirements for a Sr. Principal Computer Systems Analyst - Security+.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Windows Server Administration to include Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and other services.

  • Experienceoperatingunder and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments.

  • Experience withnetworking, including subnets, routing,VLANsand VTCs; Cisco experience and/or certification.

  • Experienced in the creation, maintenance, and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment.

  • Experience installing, configuring, andmaintainingcomputer hardware in a networked environment.

  • Experience working invirtualizedenvironments.

  • Experience with deployment andmaintenance ofBackupsolutions (Cohesity,Vertias,etc.) and SAN storage systems.

  • Experience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk).

  • Experience in scriptingandautomation.

  • Operating System Cross-platform awareness (i.e.two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.).

  • Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes.

Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
