The IT System Administrator - Tier II will be responsible for administering our overall IT environment as well as assisting with numerous key technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, security, and software development. The IT System Administrator - Tier II will work closely with other departments to ensure that our technological solutions are aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.The work hours for this role are Monday-Friday 12noon-8pm.

IT System Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an initial point of contact for employees requesting IT support by phone, email, ticket, remote session, or in person, providing professional and timely service across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows computers, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, applications, user accounts, networking, and connectivity.
  • Take ownership of assigned requests and follow them through completion or appropriate escalation.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Intune, with an emphasis on Windows, iPhone, and iPad enrollment, configuration, compliance, application deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Support Apple Business Manager and corporate-owned Apple devices.
  • Set up, deploy, troubleshoot, repair, replace, track, and recover Dell laptops, docking stations, monitors, mobile devices, accessories, and other IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate IT inventory records and coordinate equipment assignments, returns, warranty claims, replacements, refreshes, and disposal.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, licenses, permissions, and access.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access changes, and equipment deployment or recovery.
  • Support network printers, multifunction devices, scanners, and print-server issues.
  • Assist with business phone systems, office technology deployments, equipment refreshes, and other IT projects.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, system changes, equipment assignments, and recurring solutions.

IT System Administrator II Competencies

IT System Administrator Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; related college degree or technical certifications preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or advanced desktop support
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune and supporting corporate iPhones and iPads.
  • Experience troubleshooting Dell laptops, docking stations, printers, and common network-connectivity issues.
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager, Cisco Meraki, Remote Desktop Services, or 3CX is preferred
