What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Computer Support Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Computer Support Specialist, you need strong technical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of operating systems and hardware, and often a relevant associate degree or certification such as CompTIA A+. Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems, remote support tools, and diagnostic software is typically required.
