Job Description
  • Provides technical and helpline support for computers and associated networks. Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs PCs and network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors. Reviews incoming requests, both computer generated and verbal, sort, and code and may prioritize for proper action. Resolves problems or contacts more senior technical support as necessary. Provides PC, hardware, and software support. Installs, services, and repairs PCs and installs attendant software. Connects PCs and terminals to existing data networks. Supports users by fulfilling individual requests for information and/or training in the utilization of the various databases available.
  • Conducts technical research for source of information required in support of request for information related to ongoing programs and proposal efforts. Maintains network diagrams and circuit records. Instructs users in the use of PCs and networks. May perform basic PC, PBX, and network software programming. May perform or coordinate the work of others engaged in entering, transcribing, and verifying a variety of alphanumeric/numeric data.

Qualifications
  • A Journeyman labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. A Journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently.

Position requires an active Security Clearance.
Pay Range: 61,000 - 91,000
