Engineering / CAD Manager -
Commercial Millwork, Casework or Cabinetry
Our client is an established and growing commercial millwork, casework, and cabinetry manufacturer seeking an experienced Engineering / CAD Manager to lead its engineering and design team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, developing people, and improving engineering processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll oversee a team of designers and engineering professionals while driving consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the department. If you've successfully led commercial millwork engineering teams and want the opportunity to shape the future of an organization, we'd like to talk with you.
What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of commercial millwork, architectural casework, cabinetry, or store fixture engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing engineering, CAD, or design teams.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial millwork production, shop drawings, production drawings, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, or similar millwork design software.
  • Proven ability to develop processes, standardize engineering output, and improve team performance.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and people leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on management style.
  • Ability to work closely with Production and Project Management to improve workflow, quality, and delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent industry experience will be considered.
