Commercial Millwork, Casework or Cabinetry
Our client is an established and growing commercial millwork, casework, and cabinetry manufacturer seeking an experienced Engineering / CAD Manager to lead its engineering and design team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, developing people, and improving engineering processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll oversee a team of designers and engineering professionals while driving consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the department. What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of commercial millwork, architectural casework, cabinetry, or store fixture engineering experience.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing engineering, CAD, or design teams.
- Strong knowledge of commercial millwork production, shop drawings, production drawings, and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, or similar millwork design software.
- Proven ability to develop processes, standardize engineering output, and improve team performance.
- Strong coaching, communication, and people leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on management style.
- Ability to work closely with Production and Project Management to improve workflow, quality, and delivery.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent industry experience will be considered.
