Job description

Purpose  

The primary role of this position is to perform movement of materials and shaving hoppers via forklift, assist in general shop cleanup 

Location

  • 11915 FM 529 Houston Tx 77041.  Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.

  • Basic computer skills 

  • Must be detailed oriented

Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals. 
 

Working Conditions

This position is considered SHOP/INDOOR WORK which is characterized as follows. 

  • Primarily indoors during the day 

  • Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment. 

  • When outdoors, humidity is frequently above 90%

  • Noise is over 85 decibels.

  • Light is intense/glare. 

  • Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
  • Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.

  • Assists with cleaning of shop and machines

  • Operates forklift as needed
