PIRTEK, the nations leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring for the position of Shop Technician.
Job Description:
A PIRTEK Shop Technician services walk-in customers at our hose repair shops. This position requires an inquisitive nature, mechanical background, and excellent problem-solving skills to be successful.
A PIRTEK Service & Supply Center is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This gives the opportunity to work closely and communicate with other team members. Playing a pivotal role in customer service and problem-solving, the Shop Technician ensures customers receive world-class service to get their equipment back up and running.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, fabricate and / or service hoses with efficiency and accuracy
  • Anticipate and address customer needs
  • Maintain showroom and shop inventory, tools, and facilities
  • Streamline and support daily processes
  • Follow-up with customers to generate additional business
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Mechanically inclined (experience in hydraulics a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills (Spanish a plus)
