About The Role

The eBanking Specialist will assist with eBanking and Operational products and services. eBanking Specialist will greet customers with a smile, assess and fill their needs in a professional manner. The eBanking Specialist is also responsible for assisting customers with Retail eBanking, Cash Management and Treasury Management questions and performing branch clerical duties.  


About You

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Respond (eMail, telephone or other electronic means) daily to client questions and issues regarding Online Banking, Cash Management, Treasury Management systems and services to ensure effective client system utilization and understanding while providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with set-up & scanning the Bank’s cash management customers to include all system parameters for all cash management products and services.  Assist with annual review and audit of each cash management customer and their individual controls to mitigate unnecessary risk.
  • Assist with implementation of electronic banking, cash management and treasury management software upgrades and enhancements by utilizing and actively participating in products and services offered.
  • Assist with coordinating activities that support and enhance the Bank’s business development efforts ongoing.
  • Work closely with Digital Banking Officer, Treasury Support Supervisor and Treasury Sales Officer on implementation and testing of new products and training requirements.
  • Account research related to RDA, RDC, Debit Card, Cash Management and Bill Pay.
  • Daily review of  NetTeller initiated wires and ACH batches.  Daily review of ACH returns, corrections and memo posted items and review various reports related to E Banking.
  • Daily review of iPay Reports.
  • Initiate Bank wires.
  • Provide back-up and support to Customer Support Center when necessary or as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
  • Regular and predictable attendance to accomplish job duties and provide in-person contact with customers.

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer relations skills & experience required
  • Clerical experience preferred
  • Previous bank experience preferred. 

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a professional manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of equipment, PC, network, etc.
  • Knowledge of online services on internet
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to set goals, manage time, adjust to change and maintain priorities. 
  • Ability to work Full Time schedule Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: The employee is constantly required to stand and walk. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.
