Job description

Overview
Field Service Technician
This position requires 75% percent travel and our Service Technicians trek the globe! You will be expected to stay out on the road and away from home for three weeks at a time (During your week off you will be paid for a full 40 hour work week). This travel may include domestic and international travel. All techs are expected to live within one hour's travel from a major airport. Successful candidates must possess most of the required skills listed below:
Necessary skills and attributes
  • Strong Electrical (Industrial, A/C &D/C drives, PLC knowledge, Siemens Step7 a plus!)
  • Mechanical abilities
  • Open to 75% travel!
  • Willing to travel internationally!
  • Must have clear and active driver's licenses
  • Must be able to obtain a passport!
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Communication skills
    • Ability to read electrical & hydraulic schematics
    • Electrical & hydraulic experience - 3 to 5 years
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Siemens knowledge a plus!
