This position is critical to the ministry of Sky Ranch and contributes directly to our mission of leading youth and families to know and follow Christ. The IS Analyst II is primarily responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of end user computer systems, associated software, and peripherals in a networked environment. This position plays an important role in backing up the Director of IS and Analytics and is fully familiar with the processes, equipment and systems employed at Sky Ranch.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Support company Windows and Apple workstations by maintaining and troubleshooting company computers, printers, peripherals, and other communication systems. This includes hardware and software problems, networking issues, manufacturer issued patches and fixes, peripheral installation and support, and telephones, cell phones, etc. 
  • Respond in timely fashion to help requests and tickets (phone, email, camp radio, etc.). Keep users informed during the troubleshooting process and work with users to improve their computing environment. 
  • Support Sky Ranch Local Area Network in six sites to ensure it is “up” and functioning. 
  • Support Sky Ranch Point to Point Network in five sites to ensure it is “up” and functioning. 
  • Manage O365, Teams (including Phones), SharePoint file stores and administer users via Microsoft Entra. 
  • Liaise with Managed Security Provider to proactively manage Sky Ranch Information Services Security posture and firewall 
  • Lead general networking problems and projects with emphasis on streamlining and automating support processes. 
  • Administer usernames, passwords, and mail accounts. (O365) 
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all computers, repairing/replacing computer parts as necessary
  • Manage applications
  • Track and maintain hardware inventory
  • Work with vendors and contractors to accomplish various projects
  • Work with Director of IS and Analytics to explore and implement new technologies.
  • Be available outside of standard hours to troubleshoot issues on a limited, rotation basis.
  • During summer season, the 5-day work week will shift to Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday for IS employees to ensure 7 day coverage.  
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support as needed. 
  • Maintain compliance with Sky Ranch’s employee policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements. 
  • Perform other duties as directed. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION 
  • Associate degree in computer technology. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in Information Technology.  
KNOWLEDGE 
  • In-depth understanding in the field of information technology. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Operating Systems is required.  Cloud Experience – Sky Ranch is a Cloud Only organization and an understanding of the Entra environment is necessary. 
  • Excellent Networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience. 
  • Desirable – Experience with MS Intune, SharePoint, Teams, including telephones. 
  • Desirable – Experience with macOS, iOS and IpadOS devices and JAMF MDM 
  • Desirable – Experience with Unifi and Ubiquiti networking solutions

  • Requires some physical agility, including but not limited to bending for items below or reaching for items above the individual; crawling under desks; stooping, and climbing step stools or ladder.
WORK ENVIRONMENT  
  • Works indoors in normal office environment majority of the time. 
  • Ability to travel to various geographic locations, including travel by car, and some overnight stays including weekends.
