About this PositionThe Information Security Analyst 1 will participate in security efforts to design, implement, administer, and support IS technologies and processes to ensure data and systems are adequately protected. The candidate will be exposed to a broad range of information security technologies and processes. A working knowledge of cyber security is a plus. This position will work with senior members of the information security team to define security requirements for programs, applications, processes, and new systems in line with the enterprise information security architecture.
Salary range between $50K - $57K AnnuallyResponsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Functions:

Provide assistance and support for endpoint security and data loss prevention solutions.

Assist in the preparation of log reports for management review.

Participate in Vulnerability and Threat Management program.

Assist senior team members with data collection for root cause analysis on security incidents.

Apply effective communication to translate complex technical security deficiencies into business risks.

Assist on proof-of-concept activities for innovation initiatives to ensure coverage of information security requirements.

Perform security-related duties as requested.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; or 2-3 years related experience.

Ability to research, analyze and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision and escalate issues as appropriate.

Able to work independently and be a self-starter; managing multiple tasks according to priorities; results oriented and proven ability to meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn and advance their skills to assume more responsibilities.

Experience in the vulnerability assessment lifecycle, Network Security or Cyber Forensic investigations is a plus.

Knowledge and experience with tools in the following security domains are also beneficial: Microsoft data governance, security, and compliance; Security of business data on removable storage devices. (i.e. Full disk and media encryption; Microsoft Purview; Microsoft Defender Portal; etc.)
