Responsibilities:

  • Execute IT Help Desk Requests in a timely, complete, and efficient manner as needed. Requests will be performed in accordance with best practices and company policy in a manner that optimizes ease of use and minimizes total cost of technology ownership.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance and documentation of company workstations and peripherals including but not limited to, operating systems, application software, and hardware.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of company communication systems including, but not limited to, phone system, phone service, call center solutions, desk phones, wireless phones, and company smart phones.
  • Set-up new users or edit permissions for existing users as requested in Microsoft 365 and a variety of Company interfaces.
  • Support the continuous operation of company servers, networks, and work stations as required.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Personal interest in Information Technology and computer systems/software.
  • Strong administrative skills and competent personal organization.
  • Experience working with computer hardware components and wiring systems (cable tracing, terminating data wiring, connecting patch panels and switches, etc.)
  • Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Extensive learning agility and a strong desire to learn new skills.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs experience.
  • Internal sense of customer service and team play.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with supervisors on completion of tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team setting while taking responsibility for personal productivity.
  • Ability to think 'on your feet' and react to vendor inquiries appropriately.
  • Educational degree in information technology, computer science, or technical-related emphasis desired but not required.
