Job Summary
The Accounting Specialist provides accounting support to the company's financial accounting areas. The support will include handling a wide range of accounting functions including day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including but not limited to accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. The role is responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards, processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, communicating with both internal and external customers and vendors, fact-checking, organizing documents, and performing other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting tasks, including:
    • Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
    • Payroll processing
    • Journal entries
    • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and classified.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant accounting regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies and provide support on accounting inquiries.
