Responsibilities:
Design and develop smart manufacturing and using AI solutions in advanced factory scheduling, optimization and simulation that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability.
Develop high-quality data analytics and applications that provide actionable insights for management and manufacturing teams.
Explore and apply new frontier ideas, concepts and technology to enable breakthrough solutions at Micron.
Collaborate across global sites to find opportunities and deliver complete solutions to drive continuous improvement in production metrics.
Drive global alignment and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a drive to make a difference and a passion for exploring new frontiers.
Highly motivated, proactive, with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Master's/Bachelor'sdegree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science or other quantitative disciplines with strong emphasis on optimization, simulation, and algorithmic problem-solving.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on or experience in factory scheduling, optimization modeling, or simulation in a manufacturing or operations context.
Able and willing to travel overseas
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in optimization (LP, MIP, meta-heuristics) and tools like CPLEX/Gurobi.
Knowledge and experience in discrete event simulation and reinforcement learning.
Direct experience with factory scheduling.
