Job description

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions across web, server-side, and AI-enabled applications. This role combines hands-on full-stack engineering with solution architecture responsibilities to help deliver scalable, modern technology solutions. The role applies specialized knowledge in computer science, software engineering, and generative artificial intelligence to build products and platforms that support client and business needs.

Work you'll do

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Software Engineering and AI Solutions team, you will be responsible for:

  • Architecting end-to-end software solutions and creating technical design artifacts
  • Developing front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Vue, Ember.js, and WordPress
  • Building applications and application programming interfaces using Python and Node.js across server-based and serverless architectures
  • Designing and implementing GraphQL APIs and data models within graph databases, including Neo4j
  • Incorporating artificial intelligence capabilities into client-facing and internal applications and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Team members work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions that can be implemented and maintained at scale.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • Experience developing front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience using at least one modern JavaScript framework or library such as React, Angular, Vue, Ember.js, or WordPress
  • Experience developing applications or application programming interfaces using Python or Node.js in server-based or serverless architectures
  • Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs and working with graph databases such as Neo4j
  • Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience serving as a solution architect for end-to-end software solutions
  • Experience creating technical design artifacts
  • Experience incorporating artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence into applications
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience working with client stakeholders and consulting teams

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $141,200 - $278,300.
