Summary of Job Duties:The CT technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians and other services. This position may include call and holidays.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program

  • New graduate or less than one (1) year of CT experience

  • Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

  • An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date.

  • CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire

  • Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read, and Write

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiological Sciences

  • 1 or more years of experience as a CT technologist

  • Advanced Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography

  • Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data

  • Handling patients
