ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Create and maintain system architecture documentation
  • Assist in developing integrated system requirements
  • Research and document analysis in technical reports
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on system performance; identify inefficiencies, issues, and bottlenecks
  • Support system analyses and reports by mining system information using no-sql/big data analysis techniques on large volumes of system logs (including tool suites like HortonWorks/Cloudera
  • Model system behavior through functional flows and functional descriptions
  • Prepare plans and assessments, such as management engineering plans, integrated support plans, meeting presentations and implementation plans
  • Anticipate and addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance problems
  • Troubleshoot high-level technical and non, engineering, mathematics -technical issues
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with performing engineering and/or scientific research, studies and analyses of specified technological, scientific, programmatic and operational issues
  • Demonstrate strength in solving complex problems
  • Experience utilizing systems engineering and work management tools such as Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
