Indotronix is seeking an:Senior Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer Level 4 ,Everett, WA

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate Must
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
Shift: First
Start Time:7:00 AM
End Time:3:30 PM
Is Clearance Required To Start?:No

Job Summary:
The role involves leading investigations into regulatory compliance issues affecting commercial airplane programs. You will work cross-functionally with engineering teams, leadership, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to aviation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structured investigations for compliance issues including FAA Letters of Investigation, voluntary disclosures, audit findings, and airworthiness non-compliances
  • Collaborate with engineering teams (Systems, Structures, Payloads, Propulsion) to identify problem statements and perform root cause analysis
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions, including verification of non-recurrence
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, executives, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure alignment and resolution
  • Partner with Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA) to ensure regulatory compliance in investigation documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement of investigation processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to diverse audiences and leadership
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams on safety and compliance initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, BPSM)
  • Knowledge of FAA regulatory compliance and ODA procedures
  • Experience working with FAA or other regulatory authorities
  • Background in commercial aircraft systems design, analysis, or systems integration
  • Familiarity with aircraft operations, certification, and safety requirements
  • Pilot License or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (preferred)
