Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
  • Own and document solution architectures, clearly articulating technical approaches and value propositions.
  • Drive feature and component delivery through sprint planning, execution, and resolution of complex, ambiguous challenges.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, ensuring solutions meet Worldscape’s quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Innovate and optimize platform features to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Contribute to the long-term technical vision, product roadmap, and architectural strategy.
  • Triage, mitigate, and resolve customer issues, and help establish and reinforce a strong on-call culture.
  • Champion a DevOps mindset, emphasizing platform ownership, customer support, and accountability for uptime, reliability, and service health metrics.
Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering complex technology solutions, including architecture, platform development, consulting, or deep technical domain expertise (e.g., distributed systems).
  • Proven experience shipping large-scale, distributed cloud-based software solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience working in agile, fast-paced environments, effectively navigating ambiguity and driving meaningful outcomes.
  • Strong hands-on experience building full stack systems using technologies such as C#, Java, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in full-stack development across the portal and all layers of the offering.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with nsjail, Firecracker, and Microsoft Orleans.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, and prompt engineering.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or multi-agent systems.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Experience interviewing, hiring, and mentoring full-stack engineers, and helping establish strong team culture.

$160,000 - $200,000 a year

Final compensation will bedeterminedbased on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.In addition to base salary,this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and equity awards.
