Your Opportunity, Your Team
  • The Senior Infrastructure Engineer supports Cornerstone Brands (Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Grandin Road, Garnet Hill), and provides expertise to assure the effective performance of one or more key components of the organization's technical infrastructure for large to enterprise environments. You will report to the Senior Director IT Infrastructure.

Where You'll Work
  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester, OH office several days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and troubleshooting for issues escalated from more junior engineers on installed technical solutions.
  • Seen by IT colleagues as a technical resource in their area of expertise.
  • Lead or participate in SWAT teams involving mission critical applications.
  • Leads in the evaluation of new technologies relative to their domain(s) and makes strategic recommendations.
  • Work independently to design environments of increasing complexity and scope.
  • Contribute to design specifications for cross system environments
  • Provide guidance to the Architecture TRM and Guardrails within the technical expertise

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years experience with infrastructure networking, including its impact on other technologies.
  • Expertise and experience in building, monitoring, and troubleshooting a Cisco centric environment.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Nexus series of switches.
  • Expertise and experience in routing and switching, network protocols (i.e., spanning tree, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, LACP, vPC), and Data Center Network Architecture concepts.
  • Knowledge and experience in WAN Technologies (i.e., MPLS, E-line, Metro Ethernet, WAN Optimization).
  • Experience implementing QoS and knowledge of VOIP concepts.
  • Experience in troubleshooting network issues, running and analyzing packet captures.
  • Experience with Load Balancers.
  • Experience with Network Firewalls (i.e., ASA, Check Point or Palo Alto).
