Learnlife, a fully registered and accredited international school, is seeking a dynamic Secondary Years Teacher to lead and revolutionize learning experiences for 11- to 19-year-olds in our Urban Hub in Barcelona.


Our movement

At Learnlife, we are committed to pioneering a paradigm shift in education. Our mission is to empower a love of learning by creating learning models tailored to the needs of today's and future generations.

We've built 3 Hubs that host 300 school-aged learners in Barcelona.

As a Learning Guide, you will co-create our mathematics, business & computer science program at our secondary years location in Barcelona, fostering a love for learning and equipping students with essential skills for success.

Start date: full time from mid- August 2026

Hours: 8:45am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, with Fridays alternating 8:45 - 2pm and 8:45 - 4:30pm, in person in Enrique Granados 7, Barcelona.


Your responsibilities

Lead Program Design

  • Co-design and lead a comprehensive learning program for 11 to 19-year-olds; designing transdisciplinary learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop an innovative, student-centered curriculum.

Collaborative Teamwork

  • Work within a cross-functional, agile team to develop and refine learning experiences.
  • Engage in training sessions and coaching to support continuous professional growth.

Parent Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact for parents, providing regular updates on student progress and program developments.


Your experience

Educational Expertise

  • 1-3+ years of experience working with secondary students in international schools (MYP/IB) or project-based learning (PBL) environments. If you are a recent graduate, we will also consider you.
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas is essential: mathematics, computer science, business, design and marketing, technology/coding, applied science/data science.
  • An officially recognized teaching license from Spain or another country for secondary education, or a willingness to undertake teacher qualifications if requested.
  • Proven ability to design engaging learning experiences and effectively relate to and lead groups of learners.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • Preference for candidates also proficient in Spanish or Catalan (C2 level).
  • You act as a coach, mentor, passion-pusher, facilitator, and curator, meeting learners where they are.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to connect with learners and build trusting relationships.
  • A self-starter who is highly resourceful, self-aware, and adaptable.
  • An innovative mindset, drawing from a wide range of learning methodologies to creatively meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • A creative individual who brings their own passions into learning experiences.
