Description
Apple Ads Engineering is a diverse, global, and agile engineering group dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences for our Advertisers. As a team member, you will contribute to the development and optimization of user interfaces across Apple Ads, working closely with Product Engineers, Platform Engineers, and UI Engineers. Our goal is to innovate and enhance capabilities by leveraging cutting-edge technology and sharing our solutions to improve and scale across various businesses and use cases. Together, we aim to create seamless and engaging experiences that resonate with our clients.
Minimum Qualifications
* Experience contributing to consumer-facing web applications with a focus on performance, scalability and modern architecture.
* Strong proficiency in React, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and strict TypeScript.
* Solid understanding of Node.js and building robust orchestration layers or middleware.
* Ability to work with REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints
* Experience working within large-scale monorepos and modern build tools (e.g., Vite, Turborepo, Webpack, Nx).
* Working knowledge of web stack fundamentals and basic performance optimization techniques
* Experience with modern automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
* Familiarity with or strong interest in leveraging AI developer tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, automated code generation) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration
* Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team projects
* Understanding of UX/UI design principles with attention to visual details that enhance user experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or building AI-driven user interfaces.
* Familiarity with modern React state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux Toolkit, React Query).
