Be the catalyst for student success and join us train more teachers with SMART! Early adolescence is an optimal time to enhance learning, but many educators do not have the benefit of scientific methods that foster these skills. Our training program enables middle school through ninth grade teachers to take advantage of this important brain development stage and optimize student learning for success in the classroom and beyond. The Research Assistant-I will provide highly responsible technical skills in carrying out various research projects including testing, acquiring data and following human subject research protocol.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree; three years related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Three to five years professional data processing experience in a clinical,medical, or educational field would be ideal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
SMART program testing, data acquisition and processing. Ability and
willingness to learn about student assessment, cognitive strategies
assessment, organization and collection of research data, and follow human
subject research protocol.
Physical Activities Working Conditions Additional Information
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly
remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and
manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other
standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW area and have
the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote
Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
