Position Summary
The Department of Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Surgeon. This full-time position will be based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals, with an appointment at the Clinical Associate or Full Professor level.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing pediatric surgery services and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care.
Overall duties include:
  • Serving as attending physician for inpatient pediatric care services
  • Providing consultation, treatment, and follow-up for pediatric surgery patients
  • Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Engaging in clinical and basic science research, as well as participating in clinical trials that promote advancements in pediatric surgery
