A., Inc. is currently hiring for our 2026 Canon Insights Internship Program.   The program will be held from Monday, June 1, 2026 - Wednesday, August 5, 2026. This is a paid summer internship 10-week robust experience based in our Melville, New York Headquarters. What You'll Do: - You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's business and goals. - You will be exposed to world-class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities. - You'll gain marketable skills and knowledge that you'll need in transitioning into the workforce. - You'll come to the office 3 days a week and 2 days with the option to work from home (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). The project aims to resolve issues caused by inconsistent data sources and manual ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate commission fee payments and program compliance.   Immediate Actions - Develop automated validation processes for existing datasets to ensure data integrity and accurate administrative fee calculations. - Update state-specific templates using inconsistent data from various sources (Dealers, CSA, CFS). - Transfer automation tools to business users and provide necessary documentation. Mid-Term Actions - Establish automations for extracting and cross-checking CSAP/CSMP claim data against current state contracts. - Upload validated data records into established templates. - Create and support automations for various compliance and state reporting initiatives. End-State Strategy - Design a long-term plan for the automated updating and validation of claim data. - Finalize standardized templates and automated calculation tools for submission to state entities by established deadlines (e.g., the 5th day of each month). - Fully document all workflows, codebases, and process enhancements. About You: The Skills & Expertise You BringAn enrolled undergraduate student who is currently a junior and entering their senior year as of Summer 2026, pursuing a Bachelor's degree aligned with the department of interest. A strong communicator-both written and verbal-with advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar and Drive). Brings the ability to thrive as a collaborative team player while also working independently with confidence and enthusiasm.   Academic: - Currently enrolled ungraduate student majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Technical: - Experience with data validation, ETL processes, and database management.(Big Query/SQL Server preferred) - Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., RPA, Python, or advanced Excel/VBA). - Knowledge of AI enhancements for process improvement is a plus (Gemini preferred).
